Central Valley, Sierra foothills, Bay Area
Friday June 1 through Monday June 4
Stu flew to Fresno CA a day or two before I arrived. I flew to Sacramento CA (via Phoenix AZ), then drove down Highway 99 to meet him in Fresno. We drove around central California, including visiting several parks, my former home in Ceres, and the San Francisco/San Jose area. We then flew from Oakland CA to Salt Lake City UT to Oklahoma City OK.

Daily tracks
- June 1: GPX / view map—Fresno CA to Murphys CA, including California Cavern St. Hist. Landmark.
- June 2: GPX / view map—Murphys CA to San Francisco CA. Also includes side trips to Calaveras Big Trees State Park and my former apartment in Ceres CA. At the end of the track is our bus/walking trip to Ghirardelli Square and the Embarcadero/Fisherman's Wharf.
- June 3: GPX / view map—San Francisco, including visits to Golden Gate NRA (incl beach), Japantown, Fisherman's Wharf (we took a boat tour, which is not shown, and visited a submarine, The Musée Méchanique, and had dinner at The Franciscan–an excellent restaurant), and Trader Vic's.
- June 4: GPX / view map—San Francisco to the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, to the Oakland Int'l Airport.
