Chicago, Canton, Moline

Stu & I flew to Chicago for a few days and visited various museums during our stay. We had an embedded trip from Chicago to Peoria to Canton, where we attended my high school reunion, then to Moline (a former residence), and back to Chicago for another couple of days.
The GPX files have been edited only to remove extraneous points and obvious errors.

Wednesday, August 1

Thursday, August 2
- August 2: GPX / view map—The drive from our hotel in Schiller Park, Illinois to the Shedd Aquarium, then to our dinner spot in Chicago, and back to the hotel.
Friday, August 3
- August 3: GPX / view map—The drive from our hotel in Schiller Park, Illinois to the Museum of Science and Industry, then to dinner and back to the hotel.
Saturday, August 4
- August 4: GPX / view map—The drive from our hotel in Schiller Park, Illinois to Peoria, then to Canton, where we drove to various locations of former homes of relatives (including my own) to take pictures of them, then to the reunion.
Sunday, August 5
- August 5: GPX / view map—The drive from our hotel in Canton, Illinois to Moline, Illinois. This includes sightseeing (mostly parks) in Canton, plus visits to my former homes in Moline. Also included: Thunder Bay Grille (dinner) and the National Weather Service Forecast Office, both in Davenport, Iowa.
- August 5 (walking): GPX / view map—Our walk on the Ben Butterworth Parkway from far northeast Moline into far northwest East Moline—and back.
Monday, August 6
- August 6: GPX / view map—The drive from our hotel in Moline to the hotel in Schiller Park, Illinois. We drove by several points of interest (such as Augustana College and the former location of Case IH in Rock Island and East Moline, respectively), then visited the Art Institute of Chicago.
Tuesday, August 7
- August 7: GPX / view map—The drive from our hotel in Schiller Park, Illinois to the Field Museum, and back, including our stop at Maza restaurant (Chicago) for dinner.
