Maine 2023 (April) (UNDER CONSTRUCTION)
Ellsworth and vicinity
Tuesday, April 11 through Wednesday, April 26, 2023
We flew from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Portland, Maine via Denver International Airport (Colorado) and Liberty International Airport (Newark, New Jersey). We spent most of the two weeks in Ellsworth, Maine at the house, mainly attempting to remove the colt's foot (weed) from our property, with minimal success. We returned to Oklahoma City by the reverse of the route to Maine, except that our flight from Newark to Denver included a diversion to Colorado Springs, Colorado (we did not get off the plane there, and it was a rather short visit to that airport). We arrived in Oklahoma City after midnight, so technically, this trip extended into Wednesday, April 26.
I tracked the trip with a Bad Elf GPS Pro+ GPSr (GPS receiver), using my iPhone 12 (Gaia GPS app) as a backup (and the FlightRadar24 website). A few local trips were not recorded (since in-town trips are regularly ignored where we live).
NOTE: the downloadable GPX tracks are the full GPX files, while those shown on the provided "view map" links are simplified (with minimal effect on geographic accuracy) for much faster viewing.
