Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe National Parks
Thursday November 8 through Monday November 12
Stu and I took a long holiday (Veteran's Day) weekend and traveled to Carlsbad NM. We visited Carlsbad Caverns N. P. on Friday (Lower Cave tour), Guadalupe N. P. on Saturday (McKittrick Canyon Trail), and returned to Carlsbad Caverns on Sunday (Main Cave, Natural Entrance). We also drove west of Carlsbad Sunday evening to do some astrophotography. My Garmin nüvi 3790T collected GPX files for our driving (technically, Stu did all the driving, except for the last 40% or so of the return trip on Monday), while my Garmin eTrex Vista HCx handled the hike.
Except as noted, the GPX files have been edited only to remove extraneous points and obvious errors.
